In Almaty, a multi-day expedition started in three countries at once, “Silk Road - a Way of Dialogue,” reports Zakon.kz.
The start was given on August 20 at the platform of the Visit Almaty Tourist Information Center. The expedition takes place in an international format, which implies a trip to three countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
The composition of the travelers included journalists, photographers, crews of television channels, travel bloggers, tour operators.
According to the manager of the department of marketing, digitalization and communication of JSC NC "Kazakh Tourism" Darkhan Tegenbaev, an expedition commissioned by the Committee for the Tourism Industry of the Ministry of Culture is created in order to select the best places for foreign tourists from a large list of interesting places.
«This large-scale expedition "Silk Road - a dialogue path" is aimed at huge prospects in terms of route development. This route was promoted by three regions. It doesn’t matter if a tourist arrives in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan, he will follow the current route, which will be effective for sale to tour operators. We do this in order to raise the program for tourist development, choose the best objects for tourists, organize our legend», – said Darkhan Tegenbaev.
The budget allocated for this project is 24.5 million tenge.
In general, the freight forwarders team consists of 30 people. The trip will be carried out on 10 equipped cars. The starting point was Almaty - the most visited city of Kazakhstan by tourists.
Travelers will have to go the route: Almaty - BAL - Issyk Gorge - Charyn Canyon - Kolsai - Karakol - Kaji-Sai - Tokmok - Suusamyr - Talas - Taraz - Akmeshit Cave - Sauran - Turkestan - Arystan Bab - Otyrar - Shymkent - Tashkent - Samarkand - Kazygurt - Merke - Tanbaly - Almaty.
Participants must return from the expedition on September 1.
